Almost perfect 5 star

Originally gave this app a great rating but after using it for awhile realized something about it was fishy. I only have five pictures saved in it but it says it is taking up 458mb of space. It seems like this phone doesnt fully delete pictures and video when you delete it from this app. If that is true, where is it hiding them?
Like I said, fishy app!
